Imlie tells Meethi that she has been ignoring a truth for a long time, but not any longer. She needs an answer right away. She inquires about her father’s name. Meethi is shocked. Satyakam inquires about Aditya’s wife’s name. Imlie is hushed.
He asks her whether Adiya had a second marriage or not. Imlie wonders what he will do now that he knows the truth. He refers to justice. What is the point of punishing Aditya for someone else’s mistake, she asks? He inquires as to who made the error.
Those who forced him to marry her, she claims. They never once asked him if he had another person in his life. This, she claims, is incorrect. You don’t get justice or a husband when you’re threatened with a gun. Outside of the village, the laws of the country are important.
Meethi wonders why they went through all of this drama. Aditya’s eyes have shown her love for Imlie. Was it all a lie? Imlie thinks to herself that she has seen something in Aditya’s eyes as well. Only God knows whether that is out of love or sympathy.
Meethi questions Imlie about Aditya’s feelings for her. Imlie claims she is unaware of all of this. All she knows is that Aditya has been there for her and has protected her. If he couldn’t love her, it wasn’t his fault. Meethi wonders how long she can live with this compromise.
Imlie says she’ll accompany her back to the village. Meethi claims that no one will return until she speaks with Aditya. She does not want Imlie to go through what her mother has gone through. Imlie says she’ll study and move on, but not while she’s still here.
She inquires about her father’s name once more. Satyakam, says Meethi. Imlie says he is more to her than a father, but she wants to know the name of the person who abandoned her mother. Meethi tells Imlie that if she truly believes what she said about Satyakam, she will not ask her this question.
Satyakam is her everything. Satyakam is hugged by both of them. Satyakam considers making Aditya pay for injuring Imlie.
She was proud of him, of their relationship, and of everything that turned out to be false. She is disgusted by the fact that she stayed with someone else’s husband for so long. He requests that she try to understand him. He was also taken aback when she revealed that she has another man in her life.
She believes she lied to force him to tell the truth, and that lie is now refusing to leave her. He claims he cannot see her in that light. He’ll do whatever she says. She inquires as to what he intends to do. Will he forget everything and live with her like a husband if she tells him to?
He asks what they will do if they stay together when they both have someone else in their lives. He asks her to sit in the car; they’ll figure it out later. She gets back into her car. Aditya thinks in the car that he understands how difficult it will be to end the marriage, but he had no idea Malini would be so sad after learning the truth.
She must be relieved that she will be able to spend the rest of her life with the person she loves. Malini believes he believes there is someone else in her life, but she is unsure how she can tell him she only loves him. No one can ever take his place in her life.
Dev’s mother informs Anu that Imlie is missing. Anu believes she should be content. Dev returns home and summons Imlie. His mother sobs, saying she couldn’t stop her. Dev asks Anu if she did anything wrong. Whether or not she slapped her. Anu claims she did what she believed was right.
Dev wonders if it’s appropriate for a 19-year-old boy to raise his hand. Anu claims she is not a child; rather, she is every married woman’s worst nightmare. Dev is perplexed. Anu claims that if she didn’t raise her hand at her, the truth would never be revealed.
Anu wonders what she means to him that he will go looking for her. Dev’s mother instructs him to call Aditya’s house. Dev wonders what he will say. He promised to look after her. Imlie is depressed and begs the Goddess for strength. Her wishes will not be granted unless the Goddess blesses her.
She, too, wants justice for her mother. The person who treated Meethi and her unfairly must be punished. Satyakam approaches Imlie and inquires whether she is upset with him. Imlie claims that she can never be angry with him. He gave her everything without her having to ask.
She never thanked him for that. She expresses her gratitude to him. Pankaj is unable to see Nishant’s condition and claims he will not be able to hide it from his family. Aditya and Malini arrive at their destination. Malini is hesitant to enter. Aditya inquires as to what transpired.
She says she’s been wondering when he’ll tell everyone the truth. He claims he has no idea how everyone will react. She claims she was simply inquiring because she, too, wishes to leave this house. He responds, “Of course…” and inquires about her boyfriend’s name. Kunal Chauhan, she says.
She then considers how her phoney relationship has gained a name and her real relationship is losing its identity. He believes Imlie will eventually be granted her rights.
